Bartholet to conduct acting workshop Sunday, February 28th
(February 8th, 2010
Los
Angeles) Actor and television
radio host, James Bartholet will be conducting another acting workshop on
Sunday, February 28th. With all the new
parodies being filming now, this workshop will be geared toward adult performers
who want to develop and sharpen their acting skills. This new one day
workshop will cover the basics of acting and improvisation, with on camera
tapings of selected mainstream acting scenes. The workshops will be
in West Hollywood. The price will be $25.00 per
student. Interested participants can send an email to; james@galaxypublicity.com to
register now. The classes are four
to five hours long, and interested students should sign up for Sunday’s workshop
now. The workshop will start at 1:00pm sharp. “We’re doing a lot of
parodies and features in the adult industry now, and with many performers
wanting to make that transition into mainstream, this will be a good workshop
for them to take” said Bartholet. “We will do scene study, character
development, improvisation skills, cold reading and audition techniques, and we
will tape a scene that the students pick from a mainstream film, television, or
stage production so they can have tape of themselves doing a mainstream scene”.
Bartholet has many
years experience in acting and directing in the mainstream industry, and acts in
many adult features. Bartholet can be seen in the new season of “Co Ed
Confidential” on Cinemax, and appears in the mainstream movie “Mommy & Me”
directed by Jennifer James. Bartholet was a recent AVN 2010 Best Performance Non
Sex Nominee for Hustler Pictures “This Ain’t Happy Days XXX”, and received
critical acclaim for his acting performance in XPlay/Adam & Eve’s “Flight
Attendants”. Some of Bartholet’s other recent releases include; Hustler’s “This
Ain’t Dancing With The Stars XXX” and “Hollywood’s Nailin Paylin’” and Vouyer Media’s
“Not Really The Dukes Of
Hazzard A Hardcore
Parody”. Sign ups for the
