Adult Film Superstar, Nick Manning, has inked a deal to produce and star in Eddie Mansey's upcoming horror blockbuster, THE ICEMAN. Detailing the life and murders of Richard Kuklinski, (the famed mafia hitman/serial killer), THE ICEMAN will showcase Manning's first mainstream role since he wrapped filming of CRANK 2 this summer, where he was comissioned to play himself.
THE ICEMAN will be Boneyard Pictures' (Manning's adult entertainment production company) first venture into mainstream film production, and Manning himself will star in the film as 'Dom', the undercover cop on the Iceman's trail. Mansey first contacted Manning with the idea that he would star in the film as the character of 'the Devil', but upon reading the script, Manning decided that he preferred the part of 'Dom', and came to the decision that the film was to be produced through Boneyard. Fellow actor, James Bartholet has also been cast in this film project.
Manning has been very busy as of late, working toward the completion of his 8-year documentary which delves into a large portion of his career in adult entertainment entitled HUNG, HARD AND HIGH - THE NICK MANNING STORY. Additionally, his book DROPPIN' LOADS has recently been completed, and his ghost writer is in the process of selecting a literary agent. Recently, Manning's mainstream agent began working on production of a 26-installment reality-based show entitled NICK MANNING: EXPOSED.
With regard to all of his ongoing creative enterprises, Manning comments:
"We've worked very hard on all of the projects mentioned, and we are very close to seeing all of them come to fruition, but, the truth is that, despite everything I have going on right now, we've actually got even more in the works to focus upon. Eddie Mansey also holds my letter of attachment for our next project entitled SATAN'S SOLDIER: THE STORY OF RICHARD RAMIREZ, in which I have agreed to play 'the Devil'.” In October, Manning will begin production of Boneyard's newest big-budget feature, BALLSTREEET, in which Manning plays 'Gordon Getsoff'.
About Nick Manning
Manning began his career in the adult film industry in 2000 appearing in the movie Daytime Drama. Since this role, he has appeared in over 200 adult films and developed a catchphrase, "ahhhhhhhh dropping (fucking) loads" which he says as he cums. Manning is known for his often quirky comments while performing. In 2003, he was awarded Best Male Newcomer by AVN. He owns a production company, BoneYard pictures, and co-owns Platinum Blue Productions with fellow adult film actress/director Skye Blue. He has directed several adult films including The Fans Have Spoken 4 and Beauty Within.
