Misty Stone up for XBIZ “Female Performer of the Year”

With roles in the year’s most celebrated adult films and a smattering of mainstream projects, vivacious vixen Misty Stone is at the top of her game, and the experts at XBIZ have taken note. Stone has recently been nominated for what is arguably the most coveted award at the 2012 XBIZ Awards: Female Performer of the Year.

Several of Stone’s movies are also nominated for awards. Wicked Pictures’ “Horizon” is up for Feature Movie of the Year, Pleasure Dynasty’s “Taxi Driver” is up for Parody Release of the Year – Drama, and Elegant Angel’s “Club Elite” is up for All-Black Release of the Year.

One reviewer was overheard after the world premiere for “Horizon” in Hollywood: “Misty Stone, well, she’s just simply amazing”.

She can also be seen in some of the year’s bestsellers, including “A Touch of Seduction” and “Peepshow” for Wicked Pictures, “The Honeymoaners: A XXX Parody” for Dream Zone Entertainment, and “Seduction” for Elegant Angel.

Stone, who has been the lead or costar in many of the industry’s top parodies and features, also has had a leading role in many soft-core movie and cable productions. Stone has recently shot another project titled “The Jump Off” for the popular “Zane’s Sex Chronicles” series for Cinemax. She was also the costar in Cinemax’s “Co Ed Confidential“ Season Four playing the delectable dancer Dawn.

Dubbed the “Halle Berry of Porn,” Stone’s acting abilities combined with her sheer sexual dynamism have contributed greatly to the success of studio features and parodies from the industry’s top directors this past year, including Hustler’s “This Ain’t Avatar XXX,” “Hustler’s Untrue Hollywood Story: Oprah,” Wicked Pictures’ “Speed,” “Black Lesbian Romance” for West Coast Productions, and New Sensations’ “The Flintstones: A XXX Parody.”

Besides being a talented actress and sexy performer, Stone has also proven herself a savvy businesswoman and sports her own line of Fleshlights, with not one but three molds and is the only performer to have an exclusive color flesh: mocha.
